saak is a wholesale manufacturer and does not sell directly to the public. The shipping costs alone for a single order would make this cost prohibitive. Your best bet for a reasonable cost is to locate an authorized dealer. Please email sales@saak.com with your city, state and zip code for a dealer referral. Can I keep my tow hooks on my vehicle if I install a SAAK grille guard?
Absolutely, SAAK grille guards are designed to integrate factory tow hooks. The tow hook mounting location is, in most cases, extremely strong, and often SAAK mounts to the same location with brackets engineered to accomodate the tow hooks. However, on some vehicles, such as the Ford Ranger (1998), it is necessary to temporarily remove the hooks to facilitate installation and then the hooks can be reinstalled. On the Ranger, the only provision is that you switch the driver side hook to the passenger side and vice versa. Note: There are a few exceptions in the SAAK line. The Nissan Pathfinder (1995-99) does require removal of the factory hooks as does the Jeep Cherokee(1988-2000). Back to Question

SAAK is always touting "Bolt-on, No cutting or drilling." Why is that so important?
There are several reasons it is vital: First and foremost, cutting and drilling, in many cases, can void a vehicle manufacturer rust warranty, which is a major concern for consumers in areas with seasonal snow fall and salted roads. From a consumer/installer standpoint, “bolt on, no cutting and drilling” offers several advantages: First, “bolt on” is almost always an easier installation and requires no guesswork on the part of the installer. Second, no cutting and drilling requires no special tools or modification of the vehicle. Finally, because SAAK utilizes factory mounting locations, our guards consistently mount evenly on the vehicle with little or no adjustment.

Can you provide any technical information on your grille guards, tail light guards and side tubes regarding tubing size and gauge?
Here is some basic information on SAAK products:
—SAAK Grille guards are made with 1/4” steel plates. The wrap-arounds are made of 1.5 O.D cold-rolled, 16 gauge round tubing. Clearance tubes are made with 1.5” O.D., .090 gauge round tubing. The headlight grilles are 5/16” cold-rolled solid rods. We use vinyl moulding on the plates, which will not fade or crack was would rubber moulding.
— SAAK Tail Light Guards are made of 3/4” O.D. round tubing with 5/15” round inset rods. The brackets vary from vehicle to vehicle.
— SAAK Rear Bumper Guards are made with 1/4” steel plates and 1.25” O.D., 16-gauge round tubing. We use vinyl moulding on the plates, which will not fade or crack was would rubber moulding.
Why does the SAAK guard look/fit better than the rest?
The reasons are countless, but here are a few main ones: First, SAAK tailors each guard to reflect the characteristics of each vehicle, meaning if the truck/SUV is swept back and aero-dynamic, our guard will reflect that look. By contrast, if the truck is bold and robust, our guard will reflect that look. Secondly, SAAK spends countless hours in development to ensure that each guard follows the vehicle lines, particularly the headlights and bumper lines. S AA K Wheel-to-Wheel™ side tubes are "always frame mounted". Why is that so important?
Our Wheel-to-Wheel™ side tubes are frame mounted to ensure rigidity from front to back. By frame mounting our side tubes, we are able to offer a rear support bracket near the end of the tube that provides support when accessing the truck bed or tool box. Because the truck cab and truck bed move independently on the truck frame, a body-mounted full length side tube — if mounted to the cab and bed — would likely fail (as our competitors have found out), resulting in creaking and potentially structural breakdowns in either the body pan or the side tube brackets. In your literature, you make reference to things like “clearance tubes,” “wrap arounds,” and the “ S AA K Runner” top bar. Do you have a diagram that breaks down your guards?
Ford offers several vehicle packages, Expeditions and F150s — standard, limited, sport, Eddie Bauer, Lariat, Harley Davidson. Does your guard fit all of them?
Yes. Our guard, regardless of model, for the 1995-2001 Explorer fits all four-door vehicles up to 2001 and two-door Explorer up to 2000. We have a different guard for the 2001 Explorer Sport/Sport Trac and a separate one for the redesigned 2002 Explorer. As for the Expedition, we have one guard for the 97-98 model and one for the 99-2002 model. The lone exception is the F150 Lightning, which would require cutting the factory bumper to install.
